Sub Urban Art Space

‘Sub Urban Art Space’ shares a work space with its parent group ‘Sub Urban Co-Working’ (see During the weekends and weekday evenings it functions as a gallery, hosting exhibitions by local artists.

“Art Space offers exciting new opportunities for our creative community”, says volunteer curator Sophie Giddens.

“We’re nurturing a network of local artists who are interested in collaborating and supporting each other, who perhaps haven’t had the opportunity to show their work before, or need some help to start.

“It is exciting to be able to offer local artists the chance to exhibit their art works for sale and we would love to hear from artists who are interested in showing their works - please get in touch!"

‘Sub Urban Art Space’ is located in the Johnsonville Shopping Centre next to the food court. Artists hire the venue and are supported by the Art Space team to create and market exhibitions, as well as manage opening events.
